The VN-RG1 as a railgun is an electromagnetic weapon that accelerates a projectile down a line of rails. The VN-RG1 fires a metal spike three inches long at mach 6, this metal spike is fin stabalized to retain acuracy. The sight on the rifle is important as it protects the riflemans vison as the hot plasma created when firing a rail gun is many times the brightness of a shot from old rifles, the sight accounts for this despite much of the plasma being contianed by the stopper at the end of the rifle.

Manufactured by Valhallan Networks the VN-RG1 or Valhallan Networks Rail Gun One is the primary anti armour rifle of the Nordic Federation forces.

Specifications[]

The VN-RG1 as a railgun is an electromagnetic weapon that accelerates a projectile down a line of rails. The VN-RG1 fires a metal spike three inches long at unmatched speeds, this metal spike is fin stabalized to retain acuracy. The sight on the rifle is important as it protects the riflemans vison as the hot plasma created when firing a rail gun is many times the brightness of a shot from old rifles, the sight accounts for this despite much of the plasma being contianed by the stopper at the end of the rifle.
